Yard Sale on June 13!

Durham Friends Meeting (Quakers) is hosting a large multi-household Yard Sale + Bake Sale fundraiser!

All proceeds will go to Durham Friends Meeting, a great cause that supports peace, nonviolence, and justice work. You can pay with Venmo or cash.

Location: 2207 Englewood Ave, Durham

(Old West Durham near Englewood + Oakland, close to Oval Park)

We have lots of nice stuff, including furniture, big-ticket baby gear, kids' and adults' clothing, a brand new/unused complete set of dishes, a motion-activated 6-ft-tall Buddy the Elf (great for jump scares), plenty of books, a weird amount of really nice curtains...

 

A silent auction will feature some higher-priced items, including a canoe, a grandfather clock, and a spinning wheel. Joe Van Gogh coffee will be available in the morning hours at the bake sale table, along with special baked goods (e.g., matcha white chocolate blondies, brownies, cookies, strawberry cake) and ice-cold sparkling water.

 

Save the date, spread the word, and come browse! All are welcome. It will be a connective, joyful day with a strong community vibe and lots of friendly Durhamites.
